hmm.. i don't know what to blog about.. i was just in a blogging mood and having seen that i haven blogged for a really long time, i just decided to log in and add an entry.. haha..
anyway, a shoutout to all SAC SJABians of 2001-2004, our AFA cert is expiring!! we need to refresh soon or else, we'll have to start all over again.. people, i've msged you guys.. so how? we need to decide quickly if we're gonna surrender the current one so that hq can arrange for a refreshers' course for us soon.. i think it'll be good to refresh our certs cos afterall, i feel that no matter what industry you enter in the future, it'll always be good to have a first aider at hand.. and we should keep what we've learnt up-to-date.. if not, it'll be rather difficult to relearn everything again when we're older.. that's just what i think.. what do you guys think?? can we arrange for something soon?? =)
so.. what have i been busy with?? let's see.. lab reports week after week after week.. i'm getting rather sick and tired of it now.. and my grades aren't like fabulous for these reports.. rather saddening..
oh.. and i went on a fieldtrip yesterday, for my elective.. we went to eu yan seng bird's nest centre and the herbs and spices garden.. the eu yan seng bird's nest centre is located at chinatown.. next to maxwell market.. so my lecturer brought us there for lunch.. haha.. Victoria (my so-called twin) and I tried the WHATEVER and ANYTHING.. haha.. WHATEVER contained fruit juice with bits and ANYTHING tasted like 100 plus or H2O.. haha.. after lunch, we went to the bird's nest centre only to be stuck on the staircase with little ventilation.. everyone was complaining about the heat.. why stuck on the staircase? cos there was some miscommunication somewhere.. and the bird's nest centre refused us entry.. also, they were under renovation.. hence, the trip there was futile.. hai~ but the trip to the herbs and spices garden was really interesting and fun!! we learnt alot along the way.. eating the herbs as well.. my conclusion: BASIL tastes AWFUL and it STINKS.. haha.. but the advantage of basil is that it keeps flying insects away.. haha.. so people, if you guys want to keep mosquitos away during your hikes or outings or whatsoever, go get a bunch of basil.. haha.. there were lots of other plants there too.. and we learned the medicinal values and interesting facts about them.. at the end of the trip, we were each given a pot of dill plant.. haha.. DILL removes the fishy smell from seafood.. so all you need to do is add alittle on top of it when you cook ( i think).. and also, DILL helps when you have a bloated stomach.. it removes the gas from either the top(mouth--by burping) or the bottom (you know where -- and by what).. haha.. i'm doing my best to keep my plant alive.. but it needs lots of sunlight and that's not very plentiful in my house.. haha.. we'll see how..
my cousin just came online.. and when i read his nick.. i feel alittle envious.. but i don't know why.. he's got his driving licence already!!! and he's only just turned 18 last dec.. but the point is, i chose not to learn to drive.. so why feel envious?? haha..
oh well.. life is an irony.. and there's nothing more we can do about that..
oh.. let me share alittle about my latest project.. it's a class project.. on DNA--FINGERPRINTING.. and we have to present it in front of the other classes taking the same module as us.. and it's gonna be real fun cos we're putting up a skit, entitled: CSI:NYP and if things are going according to our initial plan, i'll be acting as a suspect.. can't wait for the whole script to be written.. EXCITING!! heehee..

to my dearest SWEET sister, i know i haven exactly been there for you and i've kindof lost track about what's going in your life.. really sorry, girl.. reading your blog, i know you're facing some obstacles in your life, and i'm not good at providing you with solutions.. my comforting skills probably suck too.. but just remember, no matter what, just give me a ring and i'll provide a listening ear.. a shoulder for you to lean on.. things have and will definately change once we leave JC.. don't be so bothered about it.. i know it's a heartache.. but some people are not here to stay.. they're just passers-by in our life.. learn to let them go.. ok.. also, don't hate the maturity and practicality in you.. it's part of growing up.. everyone matures.. and in time to come.. (esp. after entering the workforce) people will be come practical.. the $$$ opens people's eyes and many view things differently after that.. and that might not necessarily be bad.. we have simply just learnt the value of money.. love you always, girl.. cheer up k.. our birthdays are coming.. we'll celebrate together again.. =)
